Fire Door Safety week 2021 will run from 20th – 26th September. As always, it will be raising awareness of the critical role that fire doors play in saving lives and protecting property. Highlighting key industry issues and providing a wealth of fire door information.
At IFC we strive to continually contribute to a safer built environment through improving the awareness, innovation and practical application of all aspects of fire safety. We are therefore very pleased to once again pledge our support to the Fire Door Safety Week campaign.
Now in its 9th year, Fire Door Safety Week will comprise a host of events across the country that aims to highlight good fire safety practice and the essential role that fire doors play in this. It’s aim is to ensure widespread understanding as to the importance of correct specification, supply, installation, operation, inspection and maintenance of fire doors.
Fire Door Safety Week is backed by the Home Office’s National Fire Safety campaign, the National Fire Chief’s Council and London Fire Brigade, as well as other public, trade and private enterprises.
The campaign aims to build on the success of previous years reaching millions of people through various PR, social media and engagement events.
