Helping to deliver high-quality homes | for communities that will stand the test of time

Chelsea Bridge Wharf (CBW)

Chelsea Bridge Wharf is a prestigious and predominantly residential development by Berkeley Homes located in central London, directly adjacent to the River Thames, Battersea Power Station and Marco Polo House.  The development consists of 9 residential buildings a hotel and restaurant, all sitting over a complex enclosed podium car park that was built in phases. The development included a mix of affordable housing, private apartments and high value penthouses as well as the retail and hotel areas.  The project was delivered in phases with at times complex interim fire safety measures to accomodate a phased handover and occupation.  IFC provided ongoing independent technical support throughout the extended design period and overcame numerous technical design development issues and variations that arose during the construction and delivery of this project.  Continuity of IFC advice and services on this 8 year project through construction to handover saved the client money and prevented a number of potential problems by proactive involvement and early intervention.
