Apprenticeship scheme
 
IFC is working alongside recognised training bodies, as well as The London Fire Brigade and other large fire engineering organisations to develop an apprenticeship program for aspiring Fire Engineers. This will be aimed at A-Level students leaving school or college.
 
This innovative and exciting scheme is currently being developed and we are looking to be able to launch in the Spring of 2019.
 
IFC who have been chosen to Chair the apprenticeship program and to secure its entry into the Fire Engineering market place; currently have an Apprentice who is working up to the A Level standard required, to be one of the first to join the scheme when it begins.

Graduate scheme
 
Each year IFC look to enrol a number of Graduates with transferrable disciplines onto the Graduate Training Scheme. The Scheme which runs for 18 months is a rolling programme that incorporates a mixture of both on the job training and the skills to be added.
 
Throughout the duration of the scheme, Graduates will work across our multi skilled departments and companies associated with The IFC Group, to provide full understanding and extensive experience of the Fire Engineering industry.
 
All IFC graduates that successfully complete the programme are offered a secure position within one of the departments and with support of the company are given the opportunity to progress their academic skills further.

Student holiday jobs
 
 
We are often looking for an idealistic, highly-principled, and self-motivated candidates, to support business operations. 
 
A background in engineering for some roles can be an asset, but isn’t required. Most of the skills required will be learned on the job. The candidate will mainly need to bring a strong desire to learn, to help, and to grow personally and professionally in a tightly-knit and supportive company.
